may 2013

on may 6th, we welcomed the newest member of our family to the world.  Jacob Moses Valdez...as quick as he came into the world he stole our hearts.  he is the sweetest, cutest little boy and we are all baby crazy over here.

even though we were in new baby bliss mode, life carried on....especially with the crazy little boys at my house.  davis discovered colin's multiple superhero masks and wants to put them on/take them off 100 times a day.  he is pretty cute though.

that same week was the mother's day program at the boys' school...so cute to see all of the kids singing songs for mothers up there.  and they passed out our goodies...loved all of it.

that weekend we participated in the fallen heroes memorial walk/run.  luke ran and the rest of us walked, ha!  it was such a neat event and I am so happy we were part of it.  I hope and pray that no one we know ever needs to support and services of this group.

Colin met baby Jacob for the first time and he just wanted to hold him.  Sweetness.

On Mother's Day we just hung out at home most of the day.  I sat on the patio and watched my little nuggets run around in the sprinkler and play in the little pool.  It was pretty glorious.  We picked up food for lunch and just enjoyed our time at home.  After naps we decided to drive down to Galveston for dinner and dessert.  It was one of those almost perfect days....I loved every bit of it.

my gift - i LOVE it.  perfect and exactly what i wanted.

we spent a lot of time during the month of may just playing.  inside, outside, all over the place.

Um...just a little update.

So I have not posted/blogged in nearly a year or longer and I have so much to catch up on.  There's too much to catch up on over the last 18 months so I will just do a quick update on the last few months.  I finally joined the rest of the world and got an Iphone in March so I have been a picture/video taking fool.  It is a little bit ridiculous actually.  So, starting in March....
