i took the day off from work on friday, my actual birthday. i started the celebrating with a certain 2 year old - eating breakfast at panera, just the two of us. he was really sweet and kept singing me the birthday song and asking when my party was going to start. ha!
i don't have any other pictures from that day but my hubby really spoiled me! we went to dinner with my parents on my birthday and i stuffed myself silly. at least i can sort of pretend to have an excuse now and it is completely impossible to suck anything in, so no worries right? :)
on saturday we spent the day at the beach and it was perfect! it was just the 3 of us and we had the best time. colin is like his momma and absolutely loves the beach! he was so excited when we finally got there and did not want to leave. we were only at the beach for a couple of hours (but just long enough) then got cleaned up and went to sunflower bakery for lunch. if you haven't been there - you need to go, like now. it was so good and perfect for our laid back afternoon.
on sunday we went to brunch with the in-loves - another amazing meal and then we took a quick nap and were up again for dinner with my entire family. we kept joking that all were going to do on sunday was eat and that was pretty much exactly what we did. i am a lucky girl to be able to celebrate with the ones i love. next year i will remember to actually take pictures of the celebrations - maybe i am too old and that is why i keep forgetting my camera? :) anyway i had an amazing birthday and am so looking forward to my last year in my 30's -- great things are ahead for me and my sweet family!
