On Sunday, May 20, 2012 Davis James Horton was baptized by Daddy Jay at our church. Thinking back about this most precious moment in our son's life I can't help but think of the bible verse that begins with "Every good and perfect gift is from above" and it fills me with joy. Then I start thinking of a line from the movie Hope Floats - the grandmother always said "my cup runneth over" to express her joy and love and that is exactly how I felt on this day. I have so much love for my sweet boy(s) and I am eternally grateful to God for giving us these precious gifts.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you"
"plans to give you hope"
"and a future."
